Member Spotlight
This month's member spotlight features jevans1120, one of AFC's Shopping List Assistants! Here's what she has to say about AFC, couponing, and finding deals:

1. How long have you been a member of AFC? I have been a member since last July, 2009.

2. How many family members do you shop for? I shop for myself, my husband and my daughter.

3. When did you begin using coupons and why? I began using coupons last summer, because I read Dave Ramsey's book and started to budget. Coupons have been a great tool to keep our grocery budget under control. We live in a busy metropolitan area on one income, so budgeting is critical to maintaining that lifestyle. AFullCup(AFC) has been a critical resource to helping me to use those coupons to their full advantage.

4. How has AFC changed your shopping habits? I now use the shopping lists to do my grocery shopping. We live in a small rancher, so I don't have a lot of room for storage, but I will buy things in as much bulk as reasonable for my family when I find a good price. Whereas, before AFC, I would buy only one or two of an item on sale.

5. What is your favorite feature of AFC? I love the shopping lists. They save me so much time when comparison shopping.

6. Can you share one tip for members new to AFC? I love being able to click on a coupon and then clicking on the magnifying glass to see all the shopping lists that are currently connected to that coupon. Then I explore all those store lists to see who has the absolutely best price on the product. What a time saver!

7. What was your favorite all time coupon or sale? I haven't been using coupons that long, but I would say my favorite coupon was the $1 off 2 Mars regular size candy bars coupons that were available last fall. I used those at CVS when the candy was on sale 2/$1, and I scored free regular size Halloween candy for the kids. That was fun!

8. If you were trying to get someone to join AFC, what would be the most important thing about the site that you would tell them about? AFC is such an important place to discover, discuss and develop wonderful couponing habits that will support your family's budget. There's something here for every level of couponer. People new to using coupons are always encouraged to participate. The people here have been so warm, friendly and helpful. The most important thing I want to share is that Afullcup.com is such a comprehensive site that it can be overwhelming at first glance. Just don't give up. Start small, pick one store, ask questions and you'll grow from there. Happy Shopping!
