| Member Spotlight Congratulations to Drea, the winner of our Awesome AFC'er Award for April! Here's what she has to say about AFC: 1. Tell us a little about yourself! How long have you been a member of AFC? I have been a member here since 2006, long time huh? When I joined then, I thought it was just to save money and clip coupons..not knowing what this site would bring to me. AFC is much more than saving money and clipping those coupons, it has brought me to know and meet such wonderful people. 2. What is you favorite feature of AFC? That's a tough question! I think it would have to be the Supporting Member thread.  3. How has AFC changed your shopping habits? WOW...a lot! I never knew how to save money with the coupons, but with everyone's scenarios on how to save and where to get the coupons, I really do good with shopping now. Thanks to everyone here.  4. What is you favorite store to shop? What stores are the most coupon friendly? What stores have the best sales/prices? O.k. lets see right now my favorite store is Rite Aid, and they are also the most coupon friendly- matter of fact I even share some of my coupons with the cashiers now. As far as the sales, again it would be Rite Aid for the best sales. They don't have a limit on the items, but then again it's also hard to find the store stocked up, but I do good and am happy for what I get. Thanks to everyone here for the scenarios what to get...thanks so much.5. What is your favorite thing to stockpile and why? My favorite thing to stockpile, well its more than one.  It would be razors, bath wash, toothpaste, deodorant, aspirins and vitamins. Why? Because having 5 grown kids, I supply them with all of these things and also the grandkids, besides the girlfriends, they never go out and by any of these items! My way of helping them all out! 6. How do you get coupons and how do you keep them organized? Well I only get one insert in my paper, but I have been going "dumpster diving" lately to get more. And now my son-in-law has been getting me coupons on his UPS route, so that's been helping, or sometimes I will also trade or buy. As far as keeping them organized, its a baseball binder, I love it... 7. What advice do you have for a new couponer? My advice to a new couponer would be to read all the different stores and coupons you are interested in, and to ASK questions and to post questions. NO QUESTION is ever stupid or dumb! If you want to know something no matter how small it may seem, ASK IT. Someone always has an answer on here. 8. What advice do you have someone new to AFC? My advice for someone on here is to read up on everything you want to learn on here. This site to me is more than coupons, it has been a way to help people in other matters and to see what others are going through. Sometimes my heart goes out for people to hear and see what they go through. Again this site is like family to me....everyone is always here to help one another! So please ask questions, anything you want to know, ask away. Thats the only way you will learn and the best way. There are some great threads out there, please join in.  and thank you......
